I’m Happy To See These Conversations – Simi Supports That Nursing Mother Shouldn’t Do Any Other Type Of Work

Singer Simi has taken to social media to share that women shouldn’t have to do any other job when they welcome kids. The singer shared this while reacting to a thread shared by a Twitter user who explained that women shouldn’t do any other jobs while they nurse and breastfeed babies.

The social media user explained that nursing a baby messes with the mental health of women and used his wife as an example sharing that his baby took over 4 months of his wife’s life and sleep pattern and he needed to step up and help her. Simi reacting to this thread stated that she is happy to see men hold these conversations. The mother of one said many women have felt unseen for centuries and it is time, to be honest about their struggles.
