Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema has praised Grammy Award-winning musician Burna Boy after the 80K-seat London Stadium was sold out.
The self-acclaimed African Giant, who sold out the 80K capacity, set a record and became the first African artist to do so; the report was verified on the London Stadium’s official page.

Rema commended the artist for being an inspiration to aspiring musicians, the entertainment business, and Nigerians in general on his Instagram story after the achievement.
He wrote;
“Big congrats Uncle B. You say African Giant & you stand on it! God strengthen you to keep inspiring the boys True icon. Love u OG.”
The Mavin singer, who is currently on his much-anticipated Indian Tour, took to social media to share a video of an old interview where he spoke about his dream to shut down India.

In the interview he granted in 2020, Rema had questioned why Nigerian artistes are not breaking into the music scene in India, like they are doing in Europe and America.
He added that he wants to take Afrobeats to the next level and expressed his desire to conquer India with his music.
“You see Afrobeats, I want to take it to the next level. I want us to get into the India zone. Why can’t we shut down India?” he passionately said in the interview.
