Reiss Nelson Scores To Complete Arsenal Comeback

Reiss Nelson’s 97th minute strike helped Arsenal maintain their lead at the top of the table with the Gunners securing a comeback from 2 goals down to win the stiff contest against Bournemouth.

The Cherries went ahead after just 9 seconds into the encounter, the well planned out move was finished off by Philip Billing at the back post making the goal the second fastest scored in Premier League history.

Arsenal dominated the game from start to finish but it was Bournemouth that went ahead to score the second goal from a corner kick with a powerful header by Marco Senesi.

But the Arsenal side kept dominating and pulled a leveler in seven minutes. Both goals came from Thomas Partey who tapped home at the back post from Emile Smith Rowe’s header before Ben White’s shot was saved behind the line by Bournemouth goalie Neto.

After the leveler, the home fans began cheering their team on as the atmosphere became tensed. Into the 97th minute of the extra time, a spilled corner kick swung to Nelson before he fired Arsenal ahead for the first time in the game. The Emirates erupted into a loud shout to the celebrate the win.
