Real Madrid Sign 19-year-old Ukrainian Goalkeeper For €14M

Real Madrid have signed a new goalkeeper.

Andriy Lunin, a teenage Ukraine international will join Real Madrid ahead of the forthcoming club season from Zorya Luhansk for 14 million euros.  The 19-year-old goalkeeper will arrive Spain for pre-season, under new manager Julen Lopetegui at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Lunin reportedly maintained 20 clean sheets in 51 matches over two seasons with the first team that finished fourth in the 2017–18 Ukrainian Premier League season won by Shakhtar Donetsk. Real Madrid currently have three goalkeepers, they include the club’s first choice Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla, and Zidane’s 20-year-old son, Luca Zidane.
