Nigerian big boy Mompha has slammed the EFCC with a N5m lawsuit, following his detention.
Recall that the Bureau De Change businessman was arrested on the 19th of October on request by the Interpol, which alleged him of being involved in a $5m fraud case. Well, the IG celebrity has filed a fundamental rights enforcement suit, alleging EFCC of unlawful detention and a violation of his rights. He has also demanded a 5million naira compensation from the Commission.
This has raised controversy on social media as Nigerians gave their reactions to the news. Some have tagged the big money spender a cunning man who is trying to flee from the grasp of the anti-graft agency, while others are supporting his move of fighting back. See reactions below:
