American rapper and a pioneer of the Hip-Hop culture Snoop Dogg has expressed his distaste at the current hype and media attention surrounding Tekashi 6ix9ine right now saying he his a rat and doesn’t deserve such ovation. 
Snoop says Tekashi doesn’t deserve the overwhelming support he is getting from his fanbase and the media hype surrounding him been free because he is a snitch who betrayed his friends and former gang members.

According Snoop Dogg said the 23-year-old took a deal to throw his associates under the bus to bag himself a lighter prison sentence, which is something he frowns upon.
Speaking with newsmen, Snoop said: “They have to stop pushing this rat. All these media outlets are making snitching cool. I am old school so I do not support anyone pushing his line right now.”
