Rapper XXXtentacion’s Murder, Three Found Guilty

In the 2018 gunshot which led to the death of the upcoming rapper known as XXXTentacion, a Florida jury convicted three young men.

The artist, whose true name was Jahseh Onfroy, was 20 years old when he was shot and killed in Deerfield Beach, close to Miami, in broad daylight.

With “?” XXXTentacion peaked at the top of the album charts in 2018, yet his success was met with criticism owing to his violent past. He was accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend while she was pregnant and was waiting for his trial.

Three defendants were convicted guilty of first-degree murder and armed robbery by a jury in Fort Lauderdale following a week of deliberations. They are Michael Boatwright, 28, Dedrick Williams, 26, and Trayvon Newsome, 24.

It was decided to sentence on April 6. They might spend their entire lives in prison if found guilty of first-degree murder.

On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion’s automobile was blocked off by a four-wheel drive vehicle, and two people jumped out and shot him. From the car, they snatched a Louis Vuitton bag containing $50,000 and made off.

According to the prosecution, Boatwright and Newsome were the ones to exit the vehicle, but it was Boatwright who shot the rapper. Williams was charged with being the attack’s planner and getaway driver.

Robert Allen, a 26-year-old fourth suspect, who had previously pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed robbery, testified against the other three months later.

Around the time of his passing, XXXTentacion was beginning to achieve success in his career and was gaining admirers for his songs that openly and darkly discussed his suicide intentions.
