Nollywood actress Rachel Oniga will finally be put to eternal rest today August 27th and pictures have already surfaced on the internet of the final moments of the body of the ace thespian on the surface of the earth.
The veteran actress had passed on to the great beyond on Friday 30th July, 2021, in a Lagos hospital on Friday, July 30, around 10 p.m, a few months after her 64th birthday. Althoughg reports had it that she died of COVID-19 complications, he family said she died from a heart-related illness. 
Rachel Oniga had been honoured with a Tributes Night on Saturday 21st, which saw the presence of dignitaries from different walks of life, including the commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture Lagos State, Uzamat Akindele Yusuf and Pastor Ituah Ighodalo.

A Service of Songs was also held in her memory at the Catholic Church Of Resurrection in Magodo, Phase 2, Lagos. The funeral service will be holding today at the church and later, the actress will be laid to rest. This will then be followed by a strictly friends and family COVID-19 protocoled reception.
