Evergreen supermodel Naomi Campbell stuns as she makes a surprise appearance on the Azzedine Alaia catwalk at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, cementing her place as the undisputed queen of the catwalk with a high-flying 30-year career in the fashion industry.
The British supermodel however admitted walking out for Azzedine Alaia was a ‘very emotional’ experience after having first appeared in one of the Tunisian-born couturier’s shows over three decades ago when she was just 16.
Naomi revealed that ‘I kept it all quiet and it was a big surprise. It was overwhelming and I have to admit I was nervous. It was very emotional walking out as I didn’t want to let him down and wanted him to be proud of me. His clothes are exquisite. He is truly the master.’
She continues ‘He has been so important to me throughout my life- and supported me from a very young age. He gave me confidence as a young woman and I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for him’.
