PSG Ready To make De Gea Highest Earning GoalKeeper In Footballing History

David De Gea, Manchester United goalkeeper is set to become the highest paid goalkeeper in the world. PSG have tabled £300,000-a-week for the Manchester United shot-stopper. The Spanish international has refused to sign a new deal at Old Trafford Spanish number one David De Gea is set to become the highest paid goalie in the world if he joins Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain. The Manchester United shot-stopper whose contract will run out at Old Trafford next summer is set to sign a staggering £300,000-a-week for PSG. The 28-year-old could earn around £15.5million a year in wages and a total of £60million if he pens a four year deal at Parc des Princes. De Gea has refused to sign a new deal at United after a personal agreement between player and club are yet to be settled. United could be dealt a huge blow and to manager Jose Mourinho if they lose one of the best legs in the past few years. The Red Devils are seventh on the table with 14 points behind league leaders Manchester City who have continued their unbeaten run this season. De Gea is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world after he helped United win the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and the Europa League in 2017. A dream move to Real Madrid failed in 2015 at the 11th hour and the prospect of joining Los Blancos has ended following Thibaut Courtois move to the Bernabeu in the summer. Juventus have also been linked with the Spaniard but reports claim the Bianconeri are happy with their Polish number one Wojciech Szczesny. PSG are now clear favourites to land the former Atletico Madrid star and De Gea could sign a pre-contract agreement in January with the Parisians. It is understood that United are already looking at a number of goalkeepers with England’s No 1 Jordan Pickford is top on their priority. Meanwhile, there’s being a report that Premier League giants, Manchester United, are finally ready to sell David De Gea after reportedly setting a price tag for the goalkeeper.
