After years of the Magodo Phase 2 land case in court, the will of the original owners of the lands prevailed and they are back to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. 
For the last few days there’s being protest and chaos in that part of Lagos, Magodo Phase 2, as viral videos trend online, as residents of the Magod Phase 2 area of Lagos hit the street to protest the pre-planned demolition of their houses by the so-called “Omo-Onile” the supposedly original owners of the lands where the Magodo Phase 2 scheme is situated.

It is claimed that the Omo-Oniles whose fathers are the original owners of the lands in that areas had sent a message to landlords of houses in the area which the demolition might affect that they want to take back the lands or be ready to renegotiate and pay all over again for the land already paid for before.
According to the report reaching us from the scene of events, there’s been a total lockdown in the area while protests are ongoing, with no vehicle or persons allowed in or out of the Estates in the area.

As of the time of publication, the Lagos State Government is yet to react to the news of the demolition set to happen at the Magodo Phase 2.
