Protesters March Against Sexual & Gender Based Violence In Lagos

Lagosians today took to the streets to protest against sex and gender based violence in the country which has been on the rise over the last few weeks. The last few days across social media have been a lot to take in with people calling for action from the government and also better legislation against those found guilty of the offence.

The people said they want their voice to be heard and their demands met by the government to hearken to the plight of women and children who constantly fall victims of gender-based violence.
