Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has gifted Mohbad‘s son N10 million scholarship. The founder and head Prophet of Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), Warri, Delta State gave the money to Mohbad’s family after delegates from his church visited the Island residence of the deceased to commiserate with his family over his passing.
They handed the check of N10 million to Imole’s mother for young Liam’s education, with the wife, Omowunmi right next to her as she received it. The move by the prophet has attracted praises from the online community, lauding him for his philanthropic act.
In other news, Fresh details of how the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force arrested controversial show promoter, Balogun Eletu, better known as Sam Larry have emerged.
KOKO TV reports Sam Larry was arrested over an ongoing investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of 27-year-old singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The spokesperson of Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development in a statement released on Thursday night but didn’t reveal details of how the arrest was made.

However, the Police shed more light on the circumstances and events that led to the arrest of the controversial socialite.
According to the source, Larry was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Thursday evening as he arrived from Kenya and was immediately taken to the State Police headquarters for questioning.
“Sam Larry was arrested at the airport after he arrived from Kenya. Our officers arrested him at the airport and he was immediately taken to the state police headquarters for questioning,” the source said.

It would be recalled that following the controversial and sudden death of Mohbad on Tuesday, September 12, there have been several calls for the Police to carry out a diligent investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
In line with the call, the Police have exhumed his body for autopsy and the nurse who injected him before he died was also arrested.
