Media owner, Mo Abudu has revealed the reason why Toyin Abraham and a few selected actresses were recognised and awarded at the recently held Eko star film and TV awards.
Recall that actress, Ruth Kadiri publicly called out the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, in partnership with EbonyLife Place and Nigerian International Film Summit (NIFS) for overlooking her and not finding her worthy of the award.
According to Mo Abudu in her Instagram post, the few actresses were selected based on the fact that no movie or TV show that was produced without them.
In her words;
“Our Film & TV Producers are such an intricate and critical part of the production – Can there be a film or TV show produced without them? The answer is NO!!!!
