The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project SERAP has urged and charged President Buhari to probe the killings in Oyigbo, a town in Rivers State.
Amnesty International had raised alarm over alleged killings of civilians by soldiers in the town, and many were said to be dead.
Taking to its Twitter handle, SERAP condemned the killings and the ‘grave’ violation of human rights by the Nigerian military. It then asked the President to ensure that the perpetrators are prosecuted.
