Russia Has Lost 17,500 Troops During Invasion – Ukraine Reveals Huge Losses To Putin’s Army

In the last few moments, Ukraine has provided its latest update on the number of losses Russia has suffered since the start of the war.

It claims 17,500 Russian troops have been killed and 1,735 armoured personnel vehicles have been destroyed.

Other military equipment that has been wiped out includes 131 helicopters, 614 tanks and 135 aircraft.

Yesterday, Ukraine claimed the number of Russian losses stood at 17,300.

It should be noted that Sky News has not been able to independently verify these claims.

Last week NATO estimated that up to 15,000 Russian troops had been killed since Moscow started its invasion on 24 February.

However, at the end of last week, Russia claimed 1,351 of its troops had died.
