Former militant leader, Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo also known as Tompolo, has denied making comments about the outcome of the February 25th presidential election in an alleged viral video where he was said to have hailed the outcome of the election.
Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi have gone to court concerning to seek redress from the outcome of the presidential poll that saw the All Progressives Congress candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This was revealed in a statement made available to pressmen through Tompolo’s media consultant, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo.
Bebenimibo said, “For the avoidance of doubt, Tompolo did not do any video of sort.”
According to the media consultant, “The attention of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo has been drawn to an alleged viral video on the 2023 general election, where some online media quoted him to have hailed the outcome of the election.
“He is not an enemy to any of the Presidential candidates as well as the governorship candidates”.

He further warned the general public to refrain from trying to soil other people’s names just to suit their narratives and always verify sources before pushing false narratives.
