Presidential Aspirant Donald Duke Clears The Air On His Gay Rights Statement

Equal rights are what everyone around the world is clamoring for, especially here in Africa! And it’s a movement individuals have shown their support for, especially the youths.
In a recent conversation, Donald Duke had with Leila and Falz on their new TV show called “the couch” the Nigerian presidential aspirant made it known that he is going to protect the rights of the LGBT community, and if the need arises he can also put them in political offices regardless of their “Sexuality” as long as they can carry out their Patriotic duties diligently.

The former Cross River State Governor had been quoted to have said:
“I don’t understand their sexuality, but I will not criminalize them. I will ensure that they have the protection of the law”.
Donald Duke has however released a statement clarifying this.
“Homosexuality is a crime in Nigeria and ought to remain so,” Duke said, but he “would not go seeking homosexuals for prosecution.”
