President Buhari Travels To Mauritania For African Union Meeting

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has traveled to Mauritania for the 31st session of the African Union.
According to the Presidency’s Twitter handle, President Buhari was welcomed by the President of Mauritania, Mohammed Ould Abdel Aziz at the airport on Saturday.

President Buhari had departed Katsina State for Nouakchott, Mauritania on Saturday morning. He traveled to represent the country at the continental meeting of presidents barely 48 hours after he was visited by the Chairman of ECOWAS, President Faure Gnassingbé.
