President Buhari has apologized to Nigerians over the present state of the country due to the fuel scarcity experienced across the nation, increase in diesel price, and also power outage due to the collapse of the national gride.
The president who is currently not in the country via his official Twitter page issued a statement apologizing to Nigerians over the deep inconvenience it has caused citizens, their businesses noting that relief is on the way. He explained that this situation is painful as his administration tried to avert such occurrences in the last 7 years.
In his statement, he explained that the government is working tirelessly to avert the situation with the Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) as fuel supply has returned to a number of states lessening the queues and also funds are being targeted to keep the price of fuel affordable for citizens.
