President Buhari Reconstitutes NNPC Board

President Buhari has approved the reconstitution of the NNPC Board following the expiration of the term of the members appointed in 2016.
This was conveyed in a statement released by the Presidency via its official Twitter handle, hours after the former NNPC GMD Maikanti Baru was confirmed dead at the age of 60.

The newly appointed members are Mohammed Lawal (North West), Tajudeen Umar (North East), Adamu Mahmood Attah (North Central), Senator Magnus Abe (South South), Dr Stephen Dike (South East), and Chief Pius Akinyelure (South West) and their tenure will be lasting 3 years.
