President Buhari Goes Into Isolation After Meeting Nigerian Diplomats To UK

President Muhammadu Buhari has gone into self-isolation after he and some officials came in contact with the officials of Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, some of whom have tested positive for COVID-19.

Recall that President Buhari and some officials have just returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom after an 18-day trip, during which he also met with ex-Lagos Governor and APC chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.Confirming his isolation, Presidential aide Garba Shehu confirmed that the President and those who accompanied him on the trip were tested for COVID-19 after returning to the country, adding that their isolation is in line with NCDC guidelines for international travel.
