President Buhari has departed Nigeria for London, United Kingdom. The president left on Tuesday afternoon in the presidential jet through the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja.
The President has gone on an annual medical visit and he is due to be back in the country in the second week of April, according to presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina. The president before his departure from the country held a meeting with the service chiefs in the country. The president ordered the service chiefs to put an end to banditry and kidnapping in the country.

Buhari mentioned that the government will provide all the resources required by our own troops in order to put down these criminals. He mentioned that they must be brought down with all the ruthlessness that is required and whoever is working in collaboration with them will be brought to book.
