Frank Lampard lost to his old boss Jose Mourinho during the week in their Carabao cup tie as he continues to chop and change his squad in his bid to find his best side and his first 11.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton has so far been the team to beat this season winning their first 3 games of the season and their last 5 games across all competition. Another interesting game this weekend would be to see Guardiola welcome take on his former boss Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds side they’re one of the highest goalscoring sides so far in the league this game is set to be another goal fiesta with pulsating fast high-tempo football. Man City lost last weekend to Leicester City by five goals which have promoted Guardiola to go straight into the market and sign Benfica captain Reuben Diaz its yet to be seen if he would start tomorrow evening along with Nathan Ake in defence.

The game of the weekend would be at Old Trafford, where Manchester United would host their former hugely outspoken manager Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur the game is set to be one cracker of a match if Jose lets his team play. Both sides share the same point tally after 3 games for Spurs and 2 games for United.

Ole’s side hasn’t started the season well and have become quite predictable lately, lethargic and lack the dynamism of the tail end of last season that got people waxing lyrically about them. Ole is beginning to look out of his depth, just maybe the Manchester United job is bigger than him.

One of the biggest issues currently making the rounds about the EPL lately has got to be the sheer number of penalties that have been given in the opening 3 games so far. The new handball rule is causing a whole lot of controversies and the IFAB most definitely needs to rework its new definition of what a handball is.

If you’re a betting man expect goals across the board be smart and bet on goals to scored. Most of the guys don’t seem completely match fit yet, also considering the current handball laws expect goals.
