Pope Francis Replace Convicted Australian Priest

Pope Francis has appointed a bishop to take over an Australian archdiocese whose archbishop was convicted of covering up for a pedophile priest.
In a press statement on Sunday, The Vatican disclosed that Bishop Gregory O’Kelly, will take over as apostolic administrator for the Adelaide archdiocese.
Few weeks ago, the former administrator of the archdiocese, Archbishop Philip Wilson became the most senior Catholic cleric worldwide to be convicted of covering up child sex abuse. The clergyman is currently facing a possible two-year prison term.
In a closely related case, Cardinal George Pell, is facing a trial on sexual assault charges. Pope Francis recently insisted that top clerics be held responsible for failing to swiftly crack down on pedophile priests.
