Head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State, Rome, Pope Francis has called on Christians all over the world to pray for Nigeria.
In a short statement on his Twitter page, the religious leader enjoined all and sundry to pray against every form of violence and blood shedding in the country.
He also prayed for peace and justice in the land, so they everyone can live comfortably and without fear.

“Let us pray to the Lord for Nigeria, so that every form of violence might always be avoided, in the constant search of social harmony through the promotion of justice and the common good.”
