The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, decried voter apathy during the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections, insisting that it can not be an all perfect process.

Gbajabiamila made this known on Saturday with pressmen after casting his votes at Ward 08, Polling Unit 014 in Elizabeth Fowler Memorial School, Surulere, Lagos.

He said: “In my polling unit, the voting process has been orderly and peaceful, the only downside all over is the low turnout of voters for the elections.

“The mad rush of two weeks ago isn’t there, but then, at the end of the day, we’ll find out what the numbers are.”

He added: “What happened a couple of weeks ago is a learning process, whereby (Independent National Electoral Commission) INEC tried to introduce new technology and I don’t know what happened with the technology.
