Quaden Bayles: Comedian Brad Williams, Others Raise Over $250k For Bullied Kid

American stand-up comedian Brad Willaims has raised more than $250,000 to send Quaden Bayles, a 9-year-old Australian boy who was bullied for dwarfism, to Disneyland.
Recall that KOKOTV reported how Quaden Bayles’ mom Yarraka had shared an emotional video of him crying on Facebook yesterday, revealing that he had just come back from school and the emotional moment id the effect of the bullying on him. Quander was heard saying he wants to kill himself in the video, which broke his mom’s heart and those of everyone who watched.
This moved Brad Williams, who also has dwarfism, to stand up for the young boy, seeking funds to send him to Disneyland. Brad had appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the Tonight Show to seek support for Quaden Bayles and then went ahead to set up a GoFundMe page for him today.
“I’m setting up this GoFundMe to let Quaden know that bullying will not be tolerated, and that he is a wonderful human being who deserves joy“, he wrote on Twitter yesterday.
As of today, over 9,000 people have already donated to the page and raised a total of over 250,000 Australian dollars for Quaden. “We are over 250k! Unreal! This is so great for young Quaden and his family. The world has spoken and the world has said in one loud voice that bullying will not be tolerated! Thank you for your generosity and love!“, he tweeted.
Quaden has received an outpouring of support from the public and celebrities including Hugh Jackman, Mark Hamill, Eric Trump and British Paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds, and has come out to encourage others to stand up for themselves whenever they are bullied. His mom added that he had gone from the worst day of his life to the best day.
