Nigerian artiste, Naira Marley has reacted to his arrest by the Police and fine by a court for flouting the lockdown rule, set to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Recall that on June 13, the Marlian king had flown to Abuja on June 13th for a concert at the Jabi Lake Mall.
On August 7, a mobile court in Abuja had fined the ‘Opotoyi’ singer the sum of N200,000 for flouting the lockdown rule.
The singer was also ordered to pay N50, 000 on each of the four counts levelled against him. He was also ordered to publish an apology in a National newspaper of his choice.
He has now taken to his Twitter page to speak about his arrest and appearance in court.
