Police Demanded 60k From Me Today – Tweep Narrate Fresh Ordeal Amidst Nationwide Protests

Amidst the call for the end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS, the newly formulated Special Weapons And Tactics  unit SWAT and a reform of the Nigerian Police Force, a Nigeria tweep had recounted the fresh Ordeal he had suffered today.
Taking to the streets of Twitter, Abdulateef Adeleke noted that while he was traveling from Edo to Niger State, his bus was stopped by men of the Nigerian Police Force at a checkpoint in Kogi, which was just the beginning of his woes.#EndSARS ProtestersOn sighting him with his phone, the young man reported it was concluded that he was recording a video at the checkpoint and he was told to alight. He was then handcuffed and brutalised with tear gas directly to his face.

As if this was not enough, Abdulateef noted that the Policemen then asked him to pay the sum of 60,000 naira if he wanted the handcuffs off his hands.
