Senegal are set to launch Africa’s last attempt to record a win in the first round of group stage matches in the 2018 FIFA world cup when they take on Poland at the Spartak stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lions of Teranga will be hoping to remind the world of the glory of Senegal, as they launch a wild and fiery attack with the likes of Sadio Mane, Keita Blade and Mbaye Niang.
Poland will be relying on their top striker, Roberto Lewandowski, to deliver the much needed attacking blow to Senegal.
The Polish team have not gone beyond the group stage of the tournament since 1986. Senegal will be hoping to surpass the quarter-final level they reached few decades ago, when they kickoff their tournament later in the day.
