Piracy Is Less In Nigeria Compared To The World – D’banj

D’banj has said that piracy in Nigeria is nowhere near the attacks on global entertainment industries.

The Nigerian entertainer who recently got into the country from his show in Dubai, discussed piracy at the sixth Nigerian Entertainment Conference on Wednesday (April 25).

“There is piracy everywhere in the world. (Piracy) is even less in Nigeria,” D’banj said while speaking as a panalist at the conference, which theme for this year is on the understanding of emerging markets, trends, and opportunities.”

Nollywood investors and filmmakers including Kunle Afolayan has notably lost several millions to piracy in recent years. The “Fall In Love” singer further revealed that his CREAM platform will be made available for movie makers from May 1, 2018.
