Portable Deserves His Accolades – Simi
Multi-talented singer and producer, Simi said her colleague, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, deserves “flowers” despite his controversial nature.
Simi took to her Instagram page to laud the singer on how he had stayed relevant to date despite his unconventionality.

It can be recalled that Portable made headlines after he was captured in a viral video resisting arrest by police operatives. He was arrested and detained for three days before being arraigned before an Ogun State Magistrate Court, sitting in Ifo, on a three-count charge bothering on assault and theft of musical equipment.
He was later granted N800,000 bail; however, the Magistrate ordered that Portable be remanded at the correctional center in Ilaro pending the perfection of his bail conditions.

Following his release, the Zazu crooner dropped a new song titled ‘Federal Government Property’. He bragged in the song that he didn’t wear a prison uniform while at the correctional centre in Ilaro.
The mother of one also praises the street singer’s resilience and how well he uses social media to his advantage.
She tweeted, “Gotta give Portable his flowers lol.”
