Pharrell Was Blown Away After Listening To My Record – Tiwa Savage

Popular Nigerian singer and artist, Africa’s number 1 bad bitch, Tiwa Savage joins Zane Lowe Show as she talks about her new album and the premiere of her latest single, “Tales By Moonlight which features American singer (Amaarae). The new EP Water & Garri dropped earlier today, August 20, 2021.  Tiwa Savage
Tiwa Savage during her interview with Zane revealed just much her new sound blew, veteran ace America rapper, singer, and music producer Pharrell while also revealing that her biggest influence in music who she also takes as her mentor and a sister Brandy, working on her new project was dream come true for her.

Tiwa was asked how it felt working with Pharrell, she said;
Everybody that was involved from Rodney Jerkins to Brandy, to Ty Dolla Sign, to Nas, it’s just, it’s incredible. When I played the record for Pharrell, he was blown away. He was just quiet for a few seconds, like, “Wow.”

Tiwa Savage also spoke about Brandy being her biggest influence
Brandy is literally the reason why I started singing, literally. As a kid, just listening to I Want To Be Down, every interview I’ve ever had, she’s my favorite, my all-time, my mentor, everything. And I’ve been trying to work with her for years. It was a dream of mine. And when it happened this time, it’s not even just music, we connected like sisters. She’s someone that I speak to literally every other day. It’s beyond my expectation.
