Both teams will be out for blood as the clash will be a top of the table decider where Arsenal will be looking to surprise City to increase the point gap to eight with Manchester City having two games in-hand.

Reacting to tonight’s match, City manager, Pep Guardiola spoke about the match saying,  “It’s really good to be here. After the first round of the Premier League Arsenal did, it was difficult to think we would be here in that moment.

“It is a really, really important game because we could get points and our biggest opponent this season cannot.

“Our focus is on what we have to do. We’ve played two times this season, in the FA Cup and there, and they were really, really tight games and really, really difficult.”

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has also reacted to the clash, “It is going to be a tough night and challenge, yes, but the opportunity is incredible for us,” he said.

“We knew from the beginning – you want to win a Premier League, you have to go to Spurs and you have to beat them, you have to go to Chelsea and you have to beat them.

“This is what we have been doing, that is why we are here and now we have to go to City and we have to beat them – you want to be champion, you have to win these matches, it is as simple as that.”
