Pep Guardiola Handed Two-Match Champions League Ban

Manchester City head coach, Pep Guardiola will start the 2018/19 champions league quest from the stands after being penalized with a two-game touchline ban by UEFA on Monday.
Liverpool were also fined £17,567 by Europe’s top football governing body, UEFA, for the damage caused Liverpool fans to City’s team bus on their arrival at Anfield for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

The second match of Guardiola’s ban, though, is suspended for a probationary period of one season. Guardiola was penalized for furiously protesting to the referee after City were wrongly denied a second goal in the second leg.
Liverpool were also fined a further 9,000 euros for the setting off of fireworks in the second leg with City and the second leg of their semi-final at Roma.
