Veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem has reacted to the arrest of veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu who was arrested for wearing a Biafra flag outfit. The Nigerian Army, in a statement, confirmed the actor was arrested for inciting members of the public and soliciting support for IPOB.
Eedris reacting to the incident shared that the federal government will soon start arresting people for speaking Igbo. The actor said Agu deserves to be honoured in the East for his brave act as he has done more than any other actor in the East.

According to reports, Chinwetalu Agu has also been arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS). Mr. Agu was taken into custody by the SSS shortly after his release by the army, his friends said, amidst claims that the repressive secret police may also torture and hold him in custody indefinitely.
