Nollywood actress Mary Njoku has opened up on how difficult it is for a lot of women to combine work and being mothers. The actress in a post shared on her social media page explained that more often than not women have to choose between having successful careers or raising their kids.
She noted that men have the responsibility of helping their wives to create a balance in the home. Mary noted that women are humans and not robots and went on to share the story of her husband’s friend who complained to her that his wife has refused to work because she’s raising their four boys, Mary asked how he expects her to do both fully especially as the children are under the age of 10.
