‘People Are Innocent Until Proven Guilty’ – Madonna Defends Michael Jackson Over Child Sex Claims

Pop megastar Madonna has defended Michael Jackson amid child sex abuse allegations, claiming he is ‘innocent until proven guilty’.

Discussing Wade Robson and James Safechuck’s accusations the Thriller star abused them when they were younger – which re-emerged in the wake of the Leaving Neverland documentary – she vowed she ‘doesn’t have a lynch-mob mentality’. And the 60-year-old explained she had faced many false allegations in her career, so will always ask for proof and question the ‘agenda’ behind the claims. ‘I don’t have a lynch-mob mentality, so in my mind, people are innocent until proven guilty,’ the Hung Up singer said.

‘I’ve had a thousand accusations hurled at me that are not true. So my attitude when people tell me things about people is, “Can you prove it?”’
