Pellegrini Confirmed As Real Betis Manager On 3-Year-Deal

Former Real Madrid and Manchester City coach, Manuel Pellegrini has been confirmed as the coach of Real Betis on a three-year contract deal.

The 66-year old will replace former coach, Rubi whose contract was terminated last month following the club’s failure to win it’s first three matches since return to footballing action.

His appointment was disclosed in a statement signed by the club’s executives.

“Real Betis has signed Chilean manager Manuel Pellegrini to take up the reins of the first team next season. The contract between Pellegrini and the club is until June 2023.”

The Spainard had during the 2013/14 season led English side, Manchester City to EPL victory with two other league cups.

In 2012, he led Malaga into Europe’s premier club competition for the first time, and also took them to the quarter-finals a year later.
