N40M: Aspirant Sues PDP Over High Cost Of Nomination Form

Okey Uzoho, a presidential hopeful, has filed a case against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for allegedly denying him the opportunity to contest in the party’s May 28, 2022, presidential primary.⁣pdp


Uzoho, a lawyer and member of the People’s Democratic Party, claimed that the high cost of the expression of interest and nomination forms for presidential hopefuls will prevent him from participating in the primary.⁣

It is no news that Nigerians have been complaining about the high cost of nomination forms come 2023 elections. While PDP presidential nomination form is N40million, APC’s presidential nomination form is N100million.
