Pay Attention To What Your Kids Need From You – Waje To Parents

Nigerian singer Waje has admonished her co-parents on how to show love to their children, giving them a hint on the importance of paying attention to what their kids need from them and not just what they want to provide them with.
The mother of one, in an Instagram story, stated that  people often say they love their kids and no doubt, they do but in the real sense, they should learn to show live in the way the kids want and need.

Speaking on the importance of showing love the needed way, Waje said parents will only be raising and grooming another damage being into the society if the kids do not recognise what their parents do as love. “We all claim to love our kids and surely we do but dear parents if these kids can’t recognize what you do as love, you are basically grooming another damage being into the society”, she said.

Appealing to parents not to misunderstand her statement, Waje then prayed that God protect their kids and guide their paths. Please don’t misunderstand this, pay attention to what your kids need from you not only what you want for them. May God protect our kids and guide their path”, the singer wrote.
