Paul Pogba’s Brother Blasts Jose Mourinho Says ‘There Was A Divide Between Him And The Whole Team’

Paul Pogba’s brother Mathias has launched an attack on Jose Mourinho and claimed the ex-Manchester United boss DID have a rift with his players.

Mathias has opened up on the tensions that existed between the £89million midfielder and his former manager. The French World Cup winner, 26, was dropped from the team after a falling out and Mourinho said of him: “No player is bigger than the club.”

Now Mathias has hit back and said Mourinho, who has won the Champions League twice, is not a winner.

Mathias, who plays for Manchego in the fourth division of Spanish football, said of the Portuguese: “No, he isn’t a winner. Who is Mourinho? Players don’t always have to back their coach. You do if he’s right there alongside you, but there was a divide between him and the whole team. I have respect for what he’s won, but he’s not a good example now.[Jurgen] Klopp, [Zinedine] Zidane and Pep [Guardiola] are.”

Mathias also revealed that his brother is angling for a dream move to Real Madrid – and hasn’t ruled out a switch this month. Pogba hinted that he would leave Man Utd after the 4-0 win over Chelsea, by saying “question marks remain” over his future.

Mathias told Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito: “Paul wants to go. He can’t do everything at United. The player that Zidane is missing is Paul. It’s not impossible for Florentino to sign him. I can’t guarantee that Paul will continue at United. Until September 2, anything can happen. Madrid needs the football and joy that Paul brings.”

Zinedine Zidane wants the midfielder to add the final piece to his jigsaw but the club are baulking at his asking price. United want around £150m and Real have already splashed out more than £300m bolstering their squad this summer.
