Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka And Anthony Martial All Set To Face Liverpool

Manchester United are set to welcome back Paul Pogba and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to their squad for their Premier League clash with Liverpool this weekend.

Liverpool travel to Old Trafford on Sunday and United were fearing the worst with a host of their star men sidelined with injury.

Pogba has been struggling to recover from a foot injury in recent weeks, while right-back Wan-Bissaka has been suffering from illness. But, it is claimed the duo will be in contention for the Liverpool game andAnthony Martial could also be available for selection.

Martial has not played since August, but will make his long-awaited return to first-team training this week. A thigh injury has kept Martial out of action and United have struggled to score goals without the frontman, bagging just two league goals in the entire month of October.

There is further good news for United, with defenders Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are also set to be fit to face Liverpool. Like Martial, Shaw has not played since August, but appears to have recovered from a hamstring problem. Lindelof missed the loss to Newcastle in United’s last outing.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted the number of injuries to his squad has been a big factor in their dismal form and the return of so many first-team regulars will be a big boost to the under pressure coach.

After United’s defeat to Newcastle, some reports claimed a heavy loss to Liverpool could see Solskjaer sacked as manager. The danger of a possible dismissal, however, has seemed to faded in the last two weeks.
