Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG has reportedly sold off helicopter with registration marking 5NEAA due to high cost of maintenance of the rotorcraft.
The clergy had reportedly acquired the aircraft in September 2020 to convey him and other officials of the church across the world for the preaching of the gospel. It was, however, suspended from flying by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in April 2021 over alleged expired documents and spare parts which needed to be replaced.Reports now have it that Pastor Adeboye has sold off the rotorcraft. According to Church Gist, the total cost of maintaining the aircraft in a month was about $300,000, approximately 123,456,000 Nigerian Naira.

This, the reports said, triggered the decision of the clergyman to sell it off.
