Paris Saint Germain 1-2 Real Madrid: Los Blancos Steamroll The French Princes To Seal their Spot In The Quarter Finals

A couple of Real Madrid goals by Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro wiped away all memories of Madrid’s poor form, as the defending champions cruised past the French Princes in the second leg of their champions league round of 16 clash on Tuesday night.
The world best footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, reminded his fans of his athletic prowess once again as he scored the first goal of the match in the 51st minute. The Portugal international, who guided his team to a 3-1 lead in the first leg with a brace, rose to the occasion once again, as he continually spilled his venom on the confused PSG defense.
Ronaldo scored his 117th goal in the history of the competition to help knock out the inferior Princes on their own turf.
All hopes of a comeback for Unai Emery’s men drowned when Marco Verratti received his marching orders for dissent against referee Felix Brych.
Though Cavani’s deflected goal after Verratti’s dismissal sparked hopes of a comeback for PSG, but the hosts were stretched and Casemiro’s late goal – courtesy of another deflection – saw Real progress comfortably with a 5-2 aggregate victory
