A Nigerian tweep has insinuated Nigerians are ingrate for dragging the ‘black man who left his 8 million naira salary job to serve the nation’ – Dr Isa Pantami.
Recall that the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami’s name has been in the mouths and tweeps of many as Nigerians call for his resignation, following the listing of his name as one of those who have links to Boko Haram and Al-Qaeda insurgency groups.Taking to Twitter to defend the Minister, Mustapha said Pantami will stay in office as against the resignation agenda people are pushing. Noting that he is the first black man to lecture at the University of Madina, Mustapha said he is doing the citizens a favour by leaving his job to serve the country. “Pantami is the 1st black man to lecture at the Uni of Madina. He’s an associate prof there with N8m salary but left & came back to serve his country on a salary of 500k.
