At least 20 houses were burnt to the ground during the week, after some armed men attacked Naka, Gwer West LGA of Benue State.
It was gathered that the armed men, said to be wearing military camouflage, invaded the community, Thursday afternoon, shooting sporadically and setting houses on fire.
According to Naija news, residents of the area have been rendered homeless by the attackers. Meanwhile, efforts to contact the state Police PRO, ASP Moses Yamu proved futile, as he failed to repend to all forms of communication.
