The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Niger State Command, has reportedly  arrested one of its dismissed staff members identified Pam Ezekiel Adamu with 254kg of dried weeds suspected to be cannabis sativa.
The Acting Commander of the agency in the state, Mr Aloye Oludare, confirmed the arrest, noting that the 46 year old suspect was arrested on the 9th of October in Mokwa LGA of the state.
According to Oludare, Pam Ezekiel Adamu with staff Number SN 5454 was dismissed in 2019 and was found with a car loaded of the weeds in Ado Ekiti in company of another suspect who escaped heading to Adamawa state.

The NDLEA Commander added further that the suspect would be charged to court after the agency completed its investigation. He then appealed to the public to always report any suspicious activity or individuals to relevant authorities as such will enable the agency to get rid of drug trafficking and its attendant crimes in the State.
