COVID-19: Oyo State Records 35 New Cases, 271 Discharged, 469 In Total

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has given an update on COVID-19 cases in thew state for Friday 12th of June a few hours ago.
The Governor took to Twitter via his official handle to note that the state has confirmed 35 new cases, while 95 patients have tested negative.

He addd that “OYO STATE COVID-19 TASK FORCE UPDATE (for June 12, 2020) 1. 95 confirmed COVID-19 cases have received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 271. Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty-five suspected cases came back POSITIVE.

The cases are from Ido (7), Ibadan SW (5), Ibadan North (5), Ibadan NW (5) Oluyole (3), Ibadan NE (3), Ibadan SE (3), Egbeda (3) and Ogbomosho North (1) Local Government Areas.
